Unfortunately, coming up with helpful and encouraging phrases can be a struggle. Instead of struggling to come up with a good phrase, use some of these to provide the praise your little one deserves, whether he or she has recently drawn a good picture, completed a good deed or received high marks on a school assignment:
“That is so clever!”
“I like the way you (insert detail.)”
“I noticed that you (insert detail.)”
“Keep up the excellent work.”
“You are improving so much at (activity.)”
“You have shown great responsibility in the way you (action.)”
As you can see, addressing details and specifics gives your child a better idea of what to strive for in the future.
