Should I make a separate meal for my picky child?

It is typical for toddlers to demand a life based on chicken nuggets, but you probably know that that this is not a good idea. Unfortunately, giving in to a picky child is likely to lead to resistance to try new foods. Instead of cooking a separate meal for your child each night, it is wise to encourage your child to try your “grown up” food. Experts suggest that children try at least one bite of each food item, and they will do much better when they see you eating the same foods that they are. Healthy children experience diversity in their meals.
